Babson's premier entrepreneurial community
eTower was founded in 2001 to bring together the highest level entrepreneurs into one living community at Babson College. Through its development, eTower has become the most valued space on campus. Special guests and unique events attract students from all over to eTower's common room. Since inception, eTower companies are valued at over $2,500,000,000 and employ thousands of people.
eTower is home to 21 student entrepreneurs who are founders of their own startup companies.
Each resident is a Babson student, entrepreneur, and passionate community member.
Special Interest Housing
All eTower residents live and work together. Babson special interest communities are housed in Van Winkle Hall.

Sumukh is a sophmore passionate about Venture Capital, Education, and all things entrepreneurship. He is a Venture Partner at Contrary Capital, a de-centralized university focused venture fund investing in the best and brightest university entrepreneurs. He also founded Teendemy, a educational initiative designed to teach teenagers soft skills and life skills that aren't taught in modern education, and is currently transitioning it into his own podcast.
Zarius is a Diversity Leadership Scholar concentrating in Technology, Entrepreneurship, and Design. He's passionate about the intersection of people and technology, especially in the Internet of Things field. He is currently working to implement IoT for small businesses and nonprofits in pursuit of social impact. Zarius enjoys tennis and skiing, and lives his life with respect to Good Thoughts, Good Words, and Good Deeds.
Jonathan is an outgoing, unique, and hardworking person. He founded Boston Got Sole in 2013 and has been chasing the dream since. His other passions include music (Kanye West, Frank Sinatra, big variety), sports (Hockey, Golf, and more), and creating memories while building relationships with his loved ones.
Vice President of Alumni
Chris is excited to empower eTower’s continued growth as our alumni coordinator this semester. Web-development, video production, sales, project management and graphic design have encompassed the fields he has established himself in for the past five years as an independent contractor for early stage companies. Chris is passionate about travel, skiing, maintaining a positive attitude, and above all else his relationships.
Jason is a sophomore from Boca Raton, Florida who is very passionate about technology, entrepreneurship, and innovation. He is the founder of ThirtySevenKicks.com and SpiiderDesign.com. Jason is always looking to work on new projects and business ideas and is excited to contribute his skills to the eTower community.
Vice President of Communications
James's pursuit of entrepreneurship began in high school when he started an eBay business buying and selling rare baseball cards, which taught him how to navigate a competitive online marketplace. As a resident of eTower, James serves as the VP of Communications, working to promote the eTower community's events and start-ups. James is excited to explore new ventures and sectors in 2019.
Founder, EduQ Prep College
Alisson is from Fortaleza, Brazil. He is passionate about learning new things, specially skills that he can apply to his daily life. He is not afraid of taking new opportunities and overnight changes. He founded EduQ Prep College with two other partners in 2017, and their mission is to provide a high quality and affordable consulting service for high school students that want to apply to college!
Maxine is an aspiring social entrepreneur. Driven by her previous educational work with young children in rural Oregon, she aims to help these and other students achieve their goals. Her hobbies include painting, writing, fitness and health. She is also developing skills in brand development and management, hoping to use them to help connect more people with social-venture missions.
Jake is currently a junior at Babson and is concentrating in Environmental Sustainability and Entrepreneurship. Most of his time is spent working on a range of different eCommerce and digital marketing projects, with the intentions of investing in the renewable energy space. His goal is to own and operate his own solar or wind farm.
CEO, ORCA Coffee, Inc.
Alex is a first year student interested in entrepreneurship, design, and fashion. He currently serves as the CEO of ORCA Coffee Inc., which produces and sells single-serve coffee machines, coffee pods, and accessories. Alex is also working on a variety of tech projects in the mobile app space.
CEO, Logan's Language Land
Logan Harris is from Montvale, New Jersey motivated to make an impact reaching a network much larger than her small town. Logan created a non-profit organization, Logan’s Language Land, to instill a passion of language and culture in children before they enter New Jersey's rigorous high school language programs. Logan is currently developing contributions to the advancement of healthcare technology.
Michael is from Portland, Oregon. He loves architecture, jazz, film, and hiking. TILE is the world’s largest conversation series. With over 250 locations in 41 countries, TILE makes in-person conversations with innovators, leaders, and entrepreneurs accessible to students worldwide.
Ashritha is currently a freshman at Babson from Chicago, Illinois concentrating in Technology, Entrepreneurship, & Design. She is passionate about social entrepreneurship, educational equality, and environmental sustainability. She also loves well-written television, stand-up comedy, and exploring cities.
Founder, Hope Sews
Maya loves books, music, and film. She is also deeply passionate about social justice issues such as racial and gender equality and making quality education accessible to all. She founded Hope Sews with the goal of providing greater income generation opportunities for women in developing countries. Hope Sews designs vibrant modern clothing made from authentic Ghanaian fabrics and donates electric sewing machines to seamstresses facing financial hardships. She believes that women leaders everywhere are the future and is dedicated to using business to create tangible social change on a global scale.
Samuel is an aspiring entrepreneur from Ghana. He hopes to have many entrepreneurial impacts on his home county. He is currently in the process of establishing himself within his family’s business (a paper processing company) back in Ghana, but also aspires to venture into other things on his own ( his reason for joining e-tower).
Ella is a sophomore at Babson. From the ages of 13 to 17, she worked as a full-time actress in Los Angeles and starred in numerous films, TV shows, and commercials. Aside from acting, she loves books, podcasts, and film. Ella is deeply passionate about psychology, neuroscience, and film production and is eager to fuel her passions into creative projects.
Driven to overcome the challenges faced by his immigrant parents, David Zamarin has made a name for himself as the Founder of DetraPel. DetraPel is a nanotechnology protective coatings company that David has grown over the last five years to over seven figures in revenue. The company is expecting rapid expansion in the near future as they finish building their R&D initiatives. While DetraPel may be the latest of his ventures, David already has a track record as a serial entrepreneur at only age 20. He sold his first company, LickYourSole, in 2013 at age 15, which he used the proceeds from to bootstrap DetraPel.

Founder, Buzzer Beater Media
Liam is a sophomore interested in social media marketing and content creation. He currently works with Slam magazine as a videographer and photographer covering high school, college, and NBA games. Liam serves as the VP of Marketing and is looking forward to expanding the brand of eTower and creating content for our social media pages.

Written Application - due 3/1
Skillshare Presentation - 3/4 at 8pm
Come prepared to share a unique skill with the entire community. This will take place at eTower on March 4 at 8pm. If you're unable to make it to the skillshare presentation, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Interview - 3/6 at 8pm
You'll be interviewed by each current eTower resident. Please dress casual. After this, we'll deliberate and let you know if you've been accepted into eTower.
